How to Calculate a Percentage
To find a percentage of a number, multiply the number by the percentage and divide the result by 100.
For example, to find 20% of 100:
100 × 20 = 2,000
2,000 ÷ 100 = 20
So, 20% of 100 is 20.

Percentage of a Value = (Value × Percentage) ÷ 100
For example, to calculate 15% of 80:
80 × 15 = 1,200
1,200 ÷ 100 = 12
